Fall Prevention: Gravity Schmavity

This 1-hour course will serve as a blueprint for identifying barriers, risk factors, and solutions related to fall prevention. Throughout the course, strategies will be provided to minimize hazards within the home environment and, "therefore" limit the risk of a fall and further injury. Participants will be exposed to resources that can assist clients in preventing future falls. By emphasizing critical thinking skills, participants will be challenged to analyze the home environment and client factors with a new perspective in order to ensure the safety of clients. 1 credit will be granted with the completion of this course. In order to receive a certificate a survey must be completed.
